Stage 2 is the newest addition to HeartStrings Academy and is currently offered in Fayetteville, WV!
Our Stage 2 program is a group music class for the budding musician! Maybe you have taken Sing & Wiggle with your little one–this is the next STAGE for the child ready to take their music to the next level.
In Stage 2 we will explore music theory and performance using your child’s own direction in instrument and genre.
The Stage 2 instructor will work independently with each student developing their own musical capabilities and interests all while creating within the group dynamic. The age range is roughly 5-11, but children outside of this age range could certainly benefit so please feel free to reach us with any questions.
A child is ready for Stage 2 when they:
- show basic reading and writing skills without help
- are able to practice social distancing
Children will need to bring their instrument(s) or come to class willing to explore what is already provided. There are many aspects to learn! Perhaps your child is interested in music production or songwriting. All musical interests are welcome.
At the end of the 8 weeks, we will put on a showcase and Jam Party so that parents, friends, and family can celebrate and observe the children’s achievements.
